Welcome!
This wiki is maintained by the research labs of Matthew Keller and Scott Vrieze. We are a research group at the Institute for Behavioral Genetics at the University of Colorado Boulder. Our research includes
- Genome-wide association studies using microarrays and whole genome sequencing.
- Twin/Adoption studies
- Development of new assessments using wireless sensors such as those in your smartphone.

We're currently accepting applications for postdoctoral fellows. Please contact Scott or Matt if you're interested.
Interested graduate students can apply to work with Matt or Scott (or both!) through both the Behavioral Genetics or Clinical Psychology programs in the Psychology & Neuroscience Department.

PSYC 3102: Behavioral Genetics. This course covers introductory material and concepts in behavioral and psychiatric genetics. We cover the history of BG, Mendelian diseases to illustrate basic gene/environment concepts, twin and adoption studies, and recent molecular approaches including whole genome sequencing and genome wide association analyses.
PSYC 3112: Behavioral Genetics II. This course covers more advanced concepts in behavioral genetics, including recent molecular approaches including whole genome sequencing and genome wide association analyses.
